What is disabilityworks philosophy of coaching?

The disabilityworks model of coaching is the belief that we coach you to get better results and to get the things that you want. We coach you to get more from your life, your career, your relationships, and yourself. By asking questions we help you clarify your goals and work with you to define your priorities and values. Through feedback we may suggest assignments such as reading or may encourage you to put new tools into practice. We’ll help you get and stay organized, and help keep you directed, focused, and IN MOTION

What disabilityworks coaching does NOT do

Disabilityworks,inc. does NOT provide therapy. We don’t heal deep emotional wounds or focus on past relationships or losses. We don’t get lost in the past or spend excessive amounts of time on issues that aren’t productive at really moving you forward.

Business, personal, or life coaching is future-focused and interactive. You are the driver and you are your own life manager. We stay focused on the present situation and desired outcome moving forward toward an end result.

While we don’t tell you what to do, we may offer suggestions. We don’t set your goals for you. We don’t tell you how to live your life or run your business. Instead, we believe that you already hold most of the answers, probably already know what you should do, and may benefit from some simple guidance, direction, and planning.

Your life coach can be your biggest fan, your greatest resource, and a great source of strength, insight, and clarity as you become clear about who you are, what you want, and how you can get it.
